About belladuafe

An original Georgia Peach, born in Atlanta, GA, raised in Decatur, the product of a fashionista Mama and Morris Brown football player. Raised by a loving mother and a country Grandma born in Twiggs County Georgia, that didn’t take any junk and showed me the value of hard work and sacrifice. Kelly Lake and McNair is where I learned to love learning and danced every Friday night on the 50 yard line. Moved on to Athens, were my blood ran Red and Black and meet this swimmer dude, that my parents thought was White (black people swim too!) Fell in love hard and he changed my world, taught me how to love fearlessly, that I was hot just the way I am, and that a guy from Philly could cook collard greens and yams!!! Blessed with my baby girl “the rose that comes from a struggle” and by baby boy “the one who draws out”. Found my passion for dance again in the beat of a drum, at last freedom (Uhuru) and asked for a blessing and I found First Afrikan, asked for a creative outlet and Bella Duafe was created. A girl, women, mother, child, friend, lover, caregiver, shoulder to lean on, that’s me.
